This book is one of the main witnesses of Hof's love for London. One hundred and eighty drawings can be found as a result of a many years of a skilled work during which Hof managed to create his own technique. He first drew on a film material and then rubbed the Indian ink with an utensil he had made himself : this produced subtle effects and nuances. He used to do enlargments of this photograph transparent sheet, and modified what he thought necessary. Hundreds of proofs were found in this place after his death.
